Julie Zecchino is the co-owner of Peak Athletics and Cheer Athletics Denver, and the founder of Peak Family Travel. Alongside co-owner Amanda Webb, Julie has built a business that goes beyond youth sports—serving the thousands of families who have come through their doors over the past 25 years. What started as a practical solution for busy sports families has grown into a full-service travel business that has served thousands of teams and individual travelers across the country.

Julie is passionate about helping families make the most of their time together—whether it's planning a seamless tournament weekend or curating a dream vacation abroad. Julie, a lifelong travel enthusiast, specializes in European itineraries and loves nothing more than helping others discover the charm and richness of destinations like Italy, one of her personal favorites.

I’ve been coaching for over 20 years, and after many years in the gym, I was given the opportunity to help Julie with group travel — an industry I quickly fell in love with. We spent several years working together before launching Peak Family Travel, originally with the intention of focusing on leisure travel. But as often happens, our passion for group travel pulled us right back in — and I truly love being able to help athletes, coaches, and event producers with their unique travel needs. It’s incredibly rewarding to understand their world and be able to offer meaningful support.

As a co-owner, I’m excited that we’re expanding further into the leisure travel space. It’s a great opportunity to help more people create unforgettable experiences, whether it's for sports, vacation, or a little bit of both.

When I’m not coaching or working in travel, you’ll usually find me at a concert with my husband — we’re big music lovers — or at the gym, which is a big part of my daily routine. And when I finally slow down, I love being at home with our little zoo: three cats and two dogs who keep life fun and full of energy.

Hi! I’m Ellie! I am the executive assistant for Peak Family travel as well as a travel agent and social media manager. I currently specialize in European destinations and nature focused travel, but I am always learning more about a wide variety of destinations!

I am an outdoor enthusiast, and I love to experience new cultures and see new places! I have worked in Alaska for a summer and studied in England for a semester including much traveling within those places. My favorite destination that I have ever been to is Meteora, Greece!

I am very passionate about helping others make their dreams a reality. I have already been to so many places that I never thought I would be able to go to, and I’m here to help others do the same. The travel experience can "make or break" a team trip and that is the reason she is now dedicated to ensure every sports trip runs smoothly.
